As a Bavarian enthusiast traveling with my family, we recently stayed at Kokenhof for a summer break. Although the hotel exudes warmth and excellent service, some room upgrades such as newer bedding and air-conditioning are in order, especially during the hot summer days. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness, however, were outstanding.Our family thoroughly enjoyed the child-friendly amenities, such as the complimentary extra bed and accessible parking. The local cuisine served in the restaurant was a delightful taste of Bavaria, and the breakfast buffet left us satisfied each morning. The cleanliness of the facilities, including the well-maintained swimming pool and saunas, added to our overall comfort.Exploring local landmarks like Eilenriede Stadium from this convenient location added a cultural touch to our stay. We appreciated the efforts of the English-speaking staff, making our family feel at home. A family-friendly accommodation overall, with minor improvements, Kokenhof offers a charming Bavarian experience for families seeking a welcoming stay. We look forward to the possibility of returning during the winter months to fully enjoy all that this hotel has to offer.
